Little girl waiting in Kazakhstan

Well this blog isn't going to be about my two great kiddos.

I have just had on my mind the sweetest little girl we met when we were adopting Daniyar. She was the only one in his group that was also eligible to be adopted. She is the most beautiful little 3 year old with black hair and gorgeous almond brown eyes. I have been talking to everyone I know that might be interested in becoming her family. The reason she has been passed over is that she had a medical misdiagnosis as an infant and that is so unfortunate. Further testing shows the original diagnosis was wrong. She is also in a town that a lot of US agencies don't place children from. And she is 3 now, an older age than many families seek. I would love to make a place for her in our family but financially we aren't able to right now. If anyone out there has ideas about how to help her find a home, please feel free to email me at jacgray14@yahoo.com. I would love to talk to anyone about her, whether in the adoption process or thinking about it. I think she would be a great daughter for someone. She is well cared for at the Baby House but approaches the age to go to the older children's orphanage and that worries me a lot. And of course, she would thrive in a family of her own. I truly believe Daniyar would not be with us if a special person had not advocated for him and maybe now it is my turn.
On a side note, the boys are great, enjoying summer and looking forward to a visit from Grammy and Pa and cousin Liam's first birthday party. Pics next week from the fun weekend! Jacqueline

Thank you for making an effort for this little girl. They need all the advocates they can get! Each one is precious.

Hey, we are actualy in the process of wanting to adopt a child between 3-6 years old. You read our blog the other day. But you can contact be via-e-mail deckerkmjd@yahoo.com. As you saw on my blog our dossier is currently at the Embassy and we are thinking it will be sent to the MFA any day.

Dear Jacqueline,

this is Ina from Karlsruhe, Germany. I just read your post and am thrilled. Our dossier has been submitted to the Kazakh authorities last August and in November we were assigned to Uralsk. But since then - silence. We were hoping to adopt a toddler age 2 to 4. Right now there seem to be no children available, there literally has been no LoI for our agency in months. Frustrating! I am a litle afraid that exploring options by circumventing the agency will not be welcomed, and I am not all all inclined to go offroad from the legal path. But your post sounds so interesting! My e mail is "ikoslowsky (at) debitel dot net" and I would LOVE to hear from you. Thank you very much.

Jacquline,
I've thought about this little girl so much. I'm very glad you are still working to find her a home. I wish we could have worked something out, but it was not to be. I've wondered if we could go back for her but we are still adjusting to each other - you know how that goes! I just think it wouldn't be fair to her or Cody right now and there is no way we could afford the whole process again.

I will continue to pray hard for this beautiful little girl. I spent a lot of time looking at her pictures when we were in Kaz!

Thanks for your good work!
Julie
